This experiential retreat is your invitation to connect to the most sacred part of yourself, investigating how the Long Night of Winter Solstice shows up in your own life. We have thoughtfully prepared the food and events to capture the rhythm and sentiment of the season, and we know you will walk away with a renewed respect for winter, a heightened understanding of the season's meaning, and a sense of calm to carry you until the sun's return.
6pm-8pm
A festive Yuletide feast will initiate our Solstice weekend together. Dinner will feature organic local produce crafted into beautiful vegetarian dishes inspired by seasonal traditions. This will be followed by a healing circle, in which our group of women can share, listen deeply, and hold space for each other with tenderness and open hearts.
10am-6pm
Saturday will begin with a guided meditation practice, followed by gentle yoga to slow down and immerse ourselves in the energy of winter. After a seasonal vegetarian lunch, we will meet in sacred circle to each discover our unique expressions and reawaken the parts of ourselves that may have been forgotten. The day will close with a breathwork session to open up our energy fields, release emotional patterns and stored trauma in the body, and come into a more balanced way of living.
10am-6pm
The morning of the Winter Solstice will bring us right back into breathwork practice, allowing us to listen deeply to our bodies' wisdom and notice what wants to move through us. After yet another delicious and nourishing seasonal lunch, we will weave traditional stories of the season into festive craft-making. Our closing ceremony will be a fireside ritual, in which we will release what does not serve us and bring gentle intention to the season ahead.
